Mapping to a framework is not the same as certifying compliance with it. Whether the EU AI Act's high-risk obligations apply to your system depends on what that system does — credit or insurance decisioning on individuals is treated as high-risk; drafting sales outreach generally is not. GATE gives you high-risk-grade controls regardless; it does not, by itself, make a determination of your legal status.
On our own installs and LoanCirrus's, we hold agents to high-risk-grade logging and oversight even where the law would ask for less — ahead of the Act's August 2, 2026 high-risk deadline, and in glass. That's a decision about how we operate, not a legal opinion about your obligations.
